Are you still enjoying my little holiday gift guides? I'm having so much fun making them and saving them to my own Pinterest boards for future reference, so at least it's worth it for one of us! :)
I find that the gentlemen in my life are some of the more challenging people to buy for. I'm not exactly sure why, unless it's the fact that men typically have less tolerance for trinket gifts. I've learned some things from buying for my men in that regard, and I try to avoid buying trinkets for anyone.
Here are a few of my favorite gift ideas for the men on your list:
1/ I'm not sure how I discovered the Department of Brewology, but I love their artwork! We have the Make Me Good Coffee pennant, and if there's a gentleman coffee-lover on your list, you just might make their walls a little prettier with a hand-lettered print of their favorite brew method.
2/ "Harry's was built out of respect for quality craftsmanship, simple design, modern convenience and most importantly for guys who know they shouldn't have to overpay for a great shave." Not much more needs to be said; that phrase is attractive to me, and I'm not even a guy! Harry's makes a good-quality, affordable razor and even offers shave plans so your man will always have a supply!
3/ If you don't know about Chatbooks already, I'm so happy to share the news with you! They make custom photo books specifically designed to work with your phone photos (there's a handy little app to create your books), and they make wonderful gifts. I have a few copies of their 60-page volumes (only $8 each!), and for that price, they're great quality and make an adorable little book. They just introduced hardcover books, and they look fantastic. Chatbooks is offering the giveaway this week, so read on!
4/ More Chatbooks
5/ Red Wings Heritage Boots was my husband's contribution to the mens gift guide. :) I'm pretty sure it's the most expensive item in my whole series, but there are few things more manly than Red Wings. Neil's pair is more than 2 years old, and they really do get more beautiful as they age, as with all leather goods. These boots are made in the USA, and I highly suggest visiting your local retailer to purchase a pair, but there's an online option too.
6/ My husband received a Foot Cardigan subscription from a friend last year, and he loved it so much! It was a gift that really did keep on giving - a shipment of a new crazy-patterned pair of socks came to our doorstep once a month, and they're still his favorite socks to wear!
7/ Loyal Stricklin is a group of makers who specialize in leather goods (I'm seeing a leather trend here). This leather-cuffed mug is beautiful and can you imagine sipping your hot drink and getting whiffs of the smell of leather at the same time?! I also really like their Flat Packs - perfect for traveling.
8/ Phil's Wallets are hand-stitched, boast a minimal no-frills design, and are made from recycled leathers. They're quite slim, and will work in either front or back pockets. I quickly scrolled through some reviews online, and the only complaint I could find was one person lamenting "if only I had more money to put inside it." ;)
