I'm having so much fun making these little holiday gift guides! I'm actually saving them to my own Pinterest boards for reference later. I'm not the best at coming up with gifts short-notice, and I think having these little guides will be helpful for last-minute gift ideas throughout the year!
This week's guide is full of gifts for the ladies in your life. Moms, grandmoms, girlfriends, aunts. Sometimes they're really easy to buy gifts for, and sometimes it can be really tough to think of items that more meaningful and less trinket-y.
Here are some of my favorite gift ideas for her:
1/ I was fortunate enough to meet the object enthusiast in person at Renegade Craft fair here in Chicago earlier this year. Emily is so sweet, and her ceramics are truly as beautiful as you can see on Instagram. There are so many pieces sure to please most anyone on your list! These limited edition candles are one of my favorites.
2/ I discovered Ink + Linen on Instagram recently, and I'm already smitten by everything that Victoria creates. She's offering a beautiful tapestry for my second giveaway, so scroll down to see details, and if you can order her grateful ribbons in time for your Thanksgiving table, please post an Instagram that we will all be jealous of. ;)
3/ If you know me or follow me elsewhere, you'll know that I love Deeply Rooted Magazine. I'm gifting it to a few people this year, and the hardest part is deciding which issue to give! I've followed Deeply Rooted since its beginning as a crowd-funded idea, and I've since become friends with some of the creators and contributors. The hearts behind this magazine are truly beautiful and genuine and seeking to "encourage, educate, and inspire women into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ." They're having a sale on some print issues - hurry over!
4/ Is a gift of flowers ever turned away?! Make it extra special by ordering from a local flower company (my Chicago favorite is Flowers For Dreams, who donates to a local charity with every bouquet purchase). You can Christmas-ize this floral idea by givting a poinsetta or a wreath that will last year-round.
5/ b.eloquence is the creative vision that my friend Amber has brought to life. She's got an incredible knack for making things beautiful, from floral arrangements to full event styling. She's offering a perfect custom petite fête package for my giveaway, so read on and enter to win!
6/ Ink + Linen grateful ribbons. Simply beautiful.
7/ If Rifle Paper Co. was left out of this list, it wouldn't be a Mandalyn-made list. ;) I'm not sure that Rifle fits the small business catagory, since their prints are on LeSportsac bags and dresses and even can be found at Target. But I've followed and loved this company for years, and the products are classy and quality and just lovely. My last 3 (4?) iPhone cases have been straight from Rifle Paper Co.
8/ I don't have any pieces from Barberry & Lace's jewelry collection, but they're on my own Christmas list! I love simple, understated, minimal jewelry, and these necklaces are perfect to satisfy my tastes and can also be layered with other pieces to satisfy those ladies on your list who prefer a more bold, statement look. Most of her pieces are customizable too!
